CHUMPFixL is 25cm long with adjustable lengths of 22cm and 19cm.

The large CHUMPFixL creates a new vision of faster work for larger fittings and easier use with plasterboard repairs.
Now available in a larger size with a length of 25cm.
There are snap off ends to the wings allowing for reduction in length to 22cm and 19cm.

Tip of the month: Lath and plaster
CHUMPFix works brilliantly on lath and plaster walls and ceilings.
Do you know that when fixing into the laths there is the risk of causing a hairline crack in the plaster as the wood expands? To avoid this, use a CHUMPFix and screw through the plaster only, avoiding the wood of the laths. This will actually create a stronger fixing, as the wood is not damaged and the CHUMPFix is strong enough to support the weight of the light fitting.

Tip of the month: Second fixing of lights
CHUMPFix has the ability to support a ceiling light fitting while second fixing. This allows for the use of two hands to second fix. Easier work and your terminations will be Faster, Stronger and Tougher.
Loop a length of conductor or a cable tie through the second square hole of the CHUMPFix before inserting the CHUMPFix above the ceiling, then when the base of the fitting has been secured to the ceiling you will have this temporary support available to hang the light while second fixing.

Tip of the month: To use a CHUMPFixL to secure a consumer unit.
Typically, when mounting a consumer unit on a plasterboard wall, you will be able to secure one side to a stud, but the other side has nothing behind the plasterboard.
To speed up your installation secure a CHUMPFixL to the plasterboard on the second side, by inserting it through a slot cut with a jab saw and fix it to the other side of the plasterboard with two screws near the location for the consumer unit fixing screws. Now you can cut or twist off the handle.
The wall is now ready for mounting the consumer unit without marking or drilling the wall.
